At 26, Annalyze has established herself as one of the leading ladies of Hip hop, Party Rock, Breaks & Turntablism. She has played all over the world, alongside DJs such as Q-Bert, A-trak, Craze, X-ecutioners, & Klever to name a few. She has toured extensively with Playboy's 50th Anniversary DJ Shortee. In 2006 she also toured with the west coast’s legendary DJ Quik & appeared on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show" backing B Real (of cypress hill) & Travis Barker (blink 182). To top off that year, she performed live at MTV studios Time square with the UK’s very own Lady Sovereign! Annalyze also holds a residency in Shanghai China at the infamous Club Bon Bon. Her stellar scratching & mixing style have earned her national sponsorships with companies like Pioneer & Stanton.
Regularly rocking the club and party scene, crowds are not only mesmerized by Annalyze's scratching & turntable trickery, but by her energetic stage presence which creates a vibe that keeps the dancefloor moving all night long. The crowd pleaser that she is, Annalyze can often be found stepping away from the turntables and joining the crowd in a dance!
But in order to truly understand Annalyze, let's take it back to the beginning, to her first residency in Rochester, NY at Club Vibes. At Vibes where she played mostly 2-step, Breaks & house, her passion of music fueled her to explore different possibilities and to take DJing to the next level. Coincidentally in the fall of 2001, she became inspired by local scratch/turntablist DJs and realized that scratching was what she really wanted to learn.
Two years later at the Winter NAMM show 2003 she was able to showcase her skills and this is where she met scratch mistress DJ Shortee (one half of the LA based duo Faust & Shortee.) Returning at winter NAMM 2004 show, Annalyze played alongside Shortee on 4 turntables & together, Annalyze & Shortee formed the first female 2x4 scratch duo called "Twice As Nice".
Annalyze is featured alongside Shortee in DJ documentaries, "Girl" & "Vinyl is a Girls Best Friend" & she also has a cameo in "Shortee's DJ 202" instructional DVD. Annalyze has recently stepped into the studio & is working on her own production. She is also working on a few hip hop collaborations with Nickal Fieldz & Eyeconz Entertainment.Through Eyeconz she has been Focusing more on hip hop and party rockin / mashup style. Always pushing to the next level and always on top of her game.
